Thirty-six Days to Graduation

It is imperative that you read the blog post, “Before Her Time” to completely understand this moment. I am 36 days out from walking across the stage. There was a time that I thought I was too late as I watched my closest friends receive their diplomas. I honestly believed that my time-clock had expired for my education. That it wouldn’t mean the same, if I didn’t graduate with my original class, I was doomed. Well not only has there been a change of heart, but the ultimate change of plans. Yes, it is after my designated class. But I have been waiting for this moment, this accomplishment for awhile.

Within the past 2 years, I’ve endured a level of stress that I was sure would take me away from here. I fought through illness, through family doubters and my own insecurities, to say the least. I can’t express how I truly feel until I’m there, in Florida. I’m looking at this cap and gown order like,

“It’s really time for this?”

My thoughts on this progressively change and I want to take you guys on this journey with me. I am truly blessed and excited for the future ahead of me. I plan to be premiering my very first Everyday Girl vlog on Graduation Day. In the meantime, please continue to keep me in your prayers. With my best foot forward, it’s almost here!
