Cut Off Your Hair, Cut Off Your Feelings

It's absolutely empowering to take something that's yours and create whatever you want from it. WE ARE OUR HAIR - when used as a symbolic message that change is in effect. Ultimately we are saying hey, look what I did? This is the NEW me. Look at my transformation! On the other side of this transformation, you're mentally trying to disconnect from something. In some cases the separation is urgent, so in defense cuts can go to the extreme. "Cut off your hair, cut off your feelings." To me, there's nothing wrong with this message, I send it via social networks every 6 months or so. But of course I'm a woman and I've used this tactic plenty of times before. I wonder, what do guys cut off in the name of feelings? Hmmm.... Nonetheless, we embrace the idea and we align our actions with it. It can be a positive trade off. Cut off your hair: cut off your feelings, cut off your old habits, cut off negative thoughts. It's refreshing and in most cases much needed. #EverydayGirlStruggle
